We all need a safe place to return, to receive kindness, hugs, and comfort. We seek out people who see the best in us, bring compassion to us when we are hurting or ill. For some of us, it’s easy to give love to others.
What’s the climate like in our internal world?
Are we as kind to our own selves as we are to others? What’s our self-talk like? Do we hold ourselves to standards of perfection that we’d not even hoist on our own children and friends? Do we ever get to feel like we do or are “enough?”
